One's Maxing Guide

This guide will show you an efficient way to max your account and obtain the Max Cape, currently the second best in slot cape. We will go over the recommended skill order and talk about some useful tips and tricks along the way. This guide will be broken up into sections that will isolate certain skills/activities that should be done in a particular order. Each section will have links as titles for more in-depth guides for each skill as this guide will focus primarily maxing.

Combat > Slayer > Summoning

Starting with combat is a no brainer, it will give you some cash to buy various tools and materials once you begin skilling. Do slayer tasks as you level. The most XP efficient tasks are from Vannaka until 99 Slayer because of the speed at which you kill the assigned NPC's. This also helps build your NPC kill count up pretty quickly.

You will get some charms along your way to 99 Slayer. You can also get charms as drops from Charming Imps (Training teleport) but the best way is to purchase charm boxes with vote points in the vote point shop at home. You get vote points by redeeming vote scrolls. You get vote scrolls from voting or killing NPC's such as Alien. There is a lot to summoning but it boils down to some simple rules for making the most out of your charms:

  1. Prioritize the order in which you use your charms
    1. Levels 1-50ish you should try to use Gold > Green > Crimson > Blue in that order
    2. Levels 50+ you should try to use Crimson > Blue > Green > Gold
  2. Always make the highest possible pouches for your summoning level

Follow those rules and do not waste your charms training this skill off double XP weekends. Use vote scrolls.

Farming > Herblore

One of the most time-consuming parts of maxing is the farming/herblore skills. It is recommended you farm all three available patches for the most farming XP per run. Start farming right away and grow herbs you plan on using in Herblore such as:

  • Irit
  • Snapdragon
  • Dwarf weed
  • Torstol
  • Toadflax

You can buy guams from the shop at the Herblore skill teleport which is your best bet for getting your early levels (1-40/50). Buy an ingredients book from the herblore shop, it will show you all recipes and secondaries for the herb skill. At level 91 herb you can begin buying all your materials from the shops again and make extreme magic and ranged pots to 99. Remember these need to be (3) dose pots to make an extreme. Use vote scrolls. Bank stand in the resource area for faster leveling.

Alternatively, you can kill NPCs/bosses for herbs. For well-geared players, this may be faster.

Agility > Woodcutting > Firemaking = Fletching

Agility is going to be another alow skill you deal with, but it offers us rewards that can be used in other skills to make them faster. Get Agile top and Legs ASAP because they . Always go to the highest level course you can.

Save your tickets and buy the following in this order:

  1. Agile top and Legs (bonus agility XP when worn)
  2. Inferno adze (chance to burn logs as you cut them)
  3. Lumberjack outfit (bonus woodcutting XP when worn).

Once you get the adze and outfit you can level woodcutting/fire making more efficiently. Bank any extra logs you get for fletching after you finish each tier of logs (oak/willow/maple/etc..). If you'd like you can fletch first, and train fire making after. The difference is negligible. Use vote scrolls. Bank stand in the resource area for faster leveling.

Mining > Smithing = Runecrafting

You only need to mine and smelt your own bars until you reach 15 smithing. Once your 15 you can train smithing by going to the construction teleport and buying iron and steel bars. There are several mining rocks and an anvil in the resource area to speed up this leveling.

TIP: Smith short swords - they yield the highest xp per bar.

Runecrafting can be done before mining, but you need to mine a few inventories of essence, and you will want it to be pure essence which cannot be mined until 21. Once you hit 40 runecrafting you can just afk on the green orbs t the rc teleport. You can do the medium orbs at 70 for faster XP. Using orbs is the easy route and should take around 30-45 minutes to 99.  Use vote scrolls.

Tip: If you are able to obtain pure ess off of players/bosses Runecrafting can be leveled much quicker using ::bank at runecrafting altars.

Fishing > Cooking

There are fishing spots in the resource area, but the fastest XP seems to be shrimp > fly fishing > lobsters > monkfish to 99 for fishing. You get a lot more cooking XP than fishing XP, bank your fish and you should have no problem getting 99 cooking after. Use scrolls if you want, but not needed here. Cook in the resource area for faster leveling.
______________________________________________________________________________________________

Construction

The guide for construction written by blaze (linked above) explains this skill well enough. Construction does not benefit nor benefits from any other skills that I know of. The construction shop is useful for other skills, such as the bars for smithing. Use scrolls if you want, but not needed here.
______________________________________________________________________________________________

Thieving

The guide for Thieving written by blaze (linked above) explains this skill well enough. Thieving does not benefit nor benefits from any other skills that I know of. There are also stalls in the resource area for faster leveling. Use scrolls if you want, but not needed here.
______________________________________________________________________________________________

Crafting

The guide for Crafting written by blaze (linked above) explains this skill well enough. Crafting does not benefit nor benefits from any other skills that I know of. Bank stand in the resource area for faster leveling. Use vote scrolls.
______________________________________________________________________________________________

Hunter

The guide for Hunter written by blaze (linked above) explains this skill well enough. Use vote scrolls. When hunting chins in the resource area use the following spots to instantly catch your chins when they spawn.

If three spots are too much to handle, two can be used.

Dungeoneering

Currently there is no way to level dungeoneering. The skill is there, but bugged. Once you have finished leveling all other skills to 99 message @Mana on discord/game and he will assist you with leveling this skill.
